Committing himself fully to a task, be it writing for television, producing a true crime podcast about his dad’s murder trial, or helping brands figure out what makes them special. Unless it’s Mr. Pibb. We all know why Mr. Pibb is special.

Alex Estrada is a Los Angeles based writer whose work has been featured in publications of renown like the New York Times, Buzzfeed, Gothamist, and the website comedy cake dot com. Alex served as a staff writer and story editor for the Disney animated series Hamster & Gretel and was the creator, writer and host of The Estate, a true crime podcast. He is currently “in development” on some fun things for some fun companies and also Disney.

Alex received acting training from the William Esper Studio in New York City and studied improv and sketch comedy at UCB and the Peoples Improv Theater. He wrote for house teams at UCB and the PIT and his sketch work has been featured at the Woodstock Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Arts Festival, the Brooklyn Comedy Festival, and Sketchfest NYC.

In addition to writing, Alex is an actor. He appeared on the hit USA Television series Mr. Robot, leant his voice as an actual robot on Hamster & Gretel, and was a co-star on CBS’s Tommy, which nobody saw. He also starred in several web comedy videos and a few commercials. His next appearance? America’s Most Wanted, if there is any JUSTICE in the world!
